The Register Office is handily located in the centre of the Tees Valley. It is in the heart of Middlesbrough town centre, but in pleasant surroundings, near to the Central Gardens with its landscaped lake and world famous sculpture.
The lake and mima, the famous modern art gallery are nearby. It is a purpose built design, with elegant rooms, a wedding staircase, its own garden which is an integral part of Middlesbrough’s Civic Square.
Opportunities for photographs are plentiful. You can have a civil marriage / partnership in Middlesbrough regardless of where you live.
Endeavour Room holds 34 seated guests – 10 standing guests
Dorman Room – 22 seated guests – no standing room
A marriage or civil partnership may be arranged for any day – except for Saturday afternoons or Sundays.
Usually, the wedding will be booked when the notices of marriage are signed here.
